Vehicles on the landing in the evening with their lights on are blinding our captains as they approach.
Many of the newer vehicles have very bright L.E.D. lights which is making this situation more serious. Vehicles using the ferry system after dark must adhere to the following “vehicle light” procedure.

PALM ISLAND TRANSIT MANAGEMENT
On Monday, 8/3, Palm Island will begin trimming trees along Panama Blvd. There will be NO PARKING on the LEFT SIDE parking spaces.
After Monday parking will shift according to where they are trimming.
Starting Monday 8/3 you may park on the grass in front of the gated parking on the right side of Panama Blvd. There is a road entrance to the Island Park Lot and the grass area is on the right of that entrance road.

to the island and Placida Boat Ramp is a straight shot up the inland waterway to the island.
